The novel coronavirus has had a serious impact on all of our lives, and here at Waterfront Gourmet, healthy living has always been our top priority. That’s why our mission has always been to offer our customers healthy, fresh meals in our cafes and provide catering in the Philadelphia area.

While we were permitted to remain open for take-out during the city-wide shutdown, we made the difficult decision to temporarily close the doors to our locations in order to keep our employees and our customers safe and offer them a chance to breathe and practice safe social distancing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Now, as we prepare for reopening, we are taking great precautions and implementing several procedural changes to ensure the continued safety and security of our employees and customers. We are monitoring the recommendations of the CDC, the WHO, and all local authorities to ensure that we are well informed of any new developments in prevention, and can pass along this information to our employees and customers as it becomes available.

Starting on May 1st, 2020, select Waterfront Gourmet locations will be reopening and operating under an updated schedule to provide our customers with the ability to order food online or by phone and pick up in-store. Only select locations will be opening and a limited menu will be available – for the latest information on our open locations and menu offerings, please consult our locations page. Alternatively, you may consult our homepage where you can select the location from which you would like to order and even make your selections and place an order.

We would like to ask that all visitors to our cafes practice and maintain safe social distancing, which is in the interest of all customers and employees and will help to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In addition, we’d like to remind all guests and visitors to our locations that they are required to wear protective masks and encouraged to wear disposable gloves when coming into our cafes. As a final note, we would like to inform you that if you prefer, you can arrange for curbside pick up to help maintain a safe social distance.

Waterfront Gourmet is excited to announce our reopening, and although, at the present, it will be restricted to specific locations operating under a special schedule, we look forward to an ultimate return to our normal schedule and superior level of service.
