Spring break is right around the corner. While it may not quite feel like it yet, temperatures are rising and sunshine is heading our way. Schools are out for a week and many students may be traveling to warmer get-a-ways; however, there are also those students who are spending their spring break locally and even some who may be visiting the City of Brotherly Love for the first time. One of the things that Philadelphia is known for is our waterfront. With pier access along the Delaware River and waterfront restaurants or grab-and-go locations, if you’re spending your spring break in Philly, you’ll never run of out things to do and great places to eat.

One of those places is Waterfront Gourmet. With delicious, mouthwatering cuisine made from local and freshly sourced ingredients, this is one place you won’t want to miss.

Waterfront Gourmet has four locations through the city of Philadelphia. Our waterfront cafe is located right along the Delaware River at 5 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd. near Penn’s Landing and both Race and Cherry street piers. With seating both indoors and out, gourmet coffee and a variety of options for food, this spot is the perfect place to settle down for a bite to eat while out exploring.

We also have cafe locations at the Robert’s Center located near the Schuylkill River on South Street at 2716 South St. and right in the middle of University City at 3131 Walnut St.

One of our most popular locations, however, – aside from our waterfront restaurant – is our cafe located right across from Dilworth Park at City Hall. Seating both inside and out, we’ve got views to die for. Whether you’re just stopping by on your way across the city or are looking for a place to eat quality-made and healthy food while you’re walking around Center City, this is one spot you won’t want to miss.

If you take a look at our Waterfront Gourmet Cafe & Deli menu, you’ll find we have options for everyone. Meat lover? Check out our gourmet sandwiches, paninis, and hoagies. Chicken, turkey, roast beef and more. These sandwiches are piled on with fresh veggies for healthy and tasty lunch or dinner options.

Perhaps you’re a vegetarian. We’ve got the delicious Veggie Cartelle Burger with a veggie patty, pepper jack cheese, spinach, tomato, onions, sprouts, avocado, spicy mayo, and pickle on the side. Prefer our Tofu Sub.? Made with organic extra firm tofu, spinach, tomatoes, sprouts, scallions, avocado, and spicy mayo. Maybe you want something a bit lighter? Our Veggie Hummus is sure to delight and who could go wrong with our Avocado Toast?

With a variety of salads to choose from, you are sure to find something you love on our menu.

How about some breakfast? We offer delicious options like the Waterfront Breakfast Egg Sandwich, Waterfront Lox, Egg Royale, Whitefish Bagel and more. Pair it with gourmet Illy coffee, cappuccino, iced coffee, cold brew, espresso, latte, iced latte, or an Americano. And don’t forget to ask about our soup options!

Come to any one of our locations on your own or with some friends and enjoy a meal that will satisfy all taste buds.
